Our Emergency Food Pantry warmly welcomes any community member facing food scarcity. We’re here to help individuals and families by offering three daily meals for a five-day period during emergencies. Whether you’re dealing with unexpected expenses, housing challenges, or are new to our community, our pantry is a resource for you, especially during health, financial, or personal crises. Each visit requires a confidential intake form, completed with the assistance of our compassionate staff. We’re open from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and we’re closed on Wednesdays.
Since opening its doors in 1984, our Friendly Kitchen has been a beacon of warmth and nourishment for 40 incredible years! Each week, we’re proud to serve 16 meals, offering a delicious and nutritious hot breakfast from 9:00 to 9:30 AM, lunch from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and a take-out dinner option from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. On Saturdays, we welcome everyone for a meal between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Every dish is lovingly prepared by our dedicated Kitchen Manager, the CCRM staff, and our wonderful volunteers. We’re also grateful for the support from the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County, who have partnered with us in our mission to feed the community.
Our Furniture Gallery is a welcoming space for the entire community, offering a selection of affordable furniture and appliances for those in need. We gladly accept donations; you can bring your gently used items to 319 Washington Avenue or contact us to arrange a convenient furniture pickup. We carefully inspect each piece to ensure it meets the needs of our clients, maintaining the quality and integrity of our collection.
Our Gleaning Program is all about bringing nutritious produce and rescued food items to the community through a variety of initiatives. From Community Gardens and Seed Starting to Food Recovery and field gleaning, we’re dedicated to supporting not only those who benefit from CCRM services but also other food pantries and organizations. It’s our way of ensuring everyone has access to healthy food options.
